Our Instructor

He has over a decade of experience in Martial Arts, studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Chien Lung Kung Fu, Shaolin Kung Fu, San Da and general combat principles. He began to study Qi Gong in 2010 after a major life event catalyzed the need for healing and realization. In 2013 he embarked to the Sweden Retreat Centre of Lotus Nei Gong and started training with Damo Mitchell and Roni Edlund. There his practice of Nei Gong, Dao Yin, Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Internal Alchemy and other esoteric aspects of Daoism were formed and he still practices these currently. His extensive and intensive training involved living with his teachers throughout Asia and Europe, as well as full-time training in a summer retreat centre for 7 consecutive years. Nikolas was given recognition as an instructor within Lotus Nei Gong in 2015 and has been teaching since. He currently runs his school in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada where he lives with his family.

The teachings shared by Nikolas of Mountain Pathways have come from his teachers, Damo Mitchell and Roni Edlund. Damo has travelled across the world in search of genuine masters and has had the blessing to study directly in some lineages that hold alchemical wisdom.

Our Nei Gong methods and teachings come from Daoist origins in the Longmen Pai ~Dragon Gate Sect within the Quan Zhen ~ Complete Reality school. All of what is learned when studying with Mountain Pathways has a history of genuine practice from this lineage and wisdom tradition. We are very fortunate to have access to these methods as they have been closely guarded “inner door” methods for a long time, and it is only in recent years that they have been opened up beyond the traditions and translated for modern people to practice. I have immense gratitude for the work that Damo and Roni have done in clarifying the Nei Gong process and sharing it.
